MahaShivratri<\/strong>\u2014the night of liberation(moksha<\/strong>) from the cycle of life and death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mahashivratri<\/strong> is one of the most revered festivals in Hinduism. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But why so?<\/strong> Why does Lord Shiva stand as a synonym for Ecstacy or \u201cSacchit Ananda\u201d<\/strong>?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why is Lord Shiva worshipped so intensely by Aghoris, Sadhus, or the ones detached by Moh, Maaya, Greed, and Malice?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well, it\u2019s said that Shiva\u2019s bhakti brings one the ultimate satisfaction. It helps one understand oneself, helping one rise over and beyond anything that can make one feel stuck. Shiva is the one who frees us of every bond and binding. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And MahaShivratri gives all of us an opportunity to do so, to become one with ourselves and Aashutosh Mahadev Shiva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
