The Japa Mala has beads in the size of 10mm Rudraksha strung in the thread in traditional style with a tassel. Made from 108+1 beads of 5 Mukhi Rudraksha of 10mm size beads.
This is an auspicious rosary to chant. Also, it helps in meditation purposes. It controls anxiety, depression and makes the person motivated and positive. This rosary helps chant mantras and can also be easily worn around the neck.
How to Maintain Rudraksha:-
Rudraksha are powerful ancient beads believed to have originated from the tears of Lord Shiva worn by humans since time immemorial. They have a life span of hundreds of years if maintained properly, it can also be handed over through generations. The beads should be kept clean and free from deposits of sweat and talc, by washing them with plain water at regular intervals and cleaning them with a soft brush. If the beads appear to be dry then you can apply coconut, olive or mustard oil to protect the beads from dehydration.
How to use a Japa Mala
As per scriptures, one needs to begin from the Meru bead, complete the chant of 108 and reverse the mala and complete the next cycle of 108 chants. Ensure that while chanting one does not cross the Meru bead.
It is advisable to avoid sharing the Japa mala with others for chants (Japa).
