Eighteen Mukhi XLC Rudraksha

As per Shastra’s :

।। विश्वंभारा वसुधानी प्रतिष्ठा हिरण्यगर्भा जगतो निवेशानी वैश्वानरां बिभ्राती भूमिर अग्निम इंद्र रसभा द्रविणे नो दधातु ।।
Goddess Bhumi Devi is the form of divine in its most patient aspect. She bestows strength and also enriches human life with various sources of wealth.

Essence of Eighteen Mukhi Rudraksha:

Bhumi Devi is known to bestow her children with abundant yields. The endurance and patience displayed by Bhumi Devi is incomparable. She is strength in its utmost benign and passive aspect while simultaneously providing for all. The 18 Mukhi Rudraksha is blessed by this graceful, nurturing divine energy. When Mother Earth is ploughed, crops and fruit bearing trees are planted. When she is dug deeply; gold, silver and other precious metal ores are extracted, in the same way diamond and other precious gems are also extracted from her depths. When a place for life giving water sources has to be made it is the earth that provides the containing capacity. Canals, wells, lakes and ponds are the result of this. The capacity of the 18 Mukhi Rudraksha to provide such benefits is thereby derived from its presiding deity Goddess Bhumi Devi. Scriptures believe that she is a form of Goddess in the most patient aspect. The Bhumi Sooktam clearly mentions her capacity to bestow the elements that strengthen and enrich human life while blessing with various sources of wealth.

Story of Bhumi Devi :

Bhumi Devi is depicted as the consort of Varaha (The boar form of Lord Vishnu). The Rakshasa Hiranyaksha torments Bhumi and her inhabitants. As a result she sinks into the ocean. Lord Vishnu takes on the form of Varaha, dives into the ocean, kills Hiranyakashipu and retrieves her on his Tusks. Thus Bhumi has the protection of Lord Vishnu at all times. Bhauma/ Mars / Mangal is the son of Bhumi Devi. He performed severe penance to Lord Shiva. Thus pleased Lord Shiva gifted Bhauma the Mangal Lok. Any Pradosh that falls on a Tuesday is also addressed as Bhauma Pradosh.
