Essence of Seventeen Mukhi Rudraksha:

Lord Vishwakarma is the celestial architect who is the mystical builder of many celestial kingdoms and weapons. He is an expert in crafting with creativity and splendour. Scriptures state that this Rudraksha can make the wearer wealthy in a short span of time. The wearer gets sudden wealth and heightened spiritual powers as per texts. Lord Vishwakarma and 17 Mukhi Rudraksha

Vishwakarma is the creator of the architectural splendour of the golden city of Lanka. What was originally designed for Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati was eventually given to the Asura King Ravana as Dakshina. When lord Shiva reduced Kamdev to ashes with the fire emitted from his third eye it is Lord Vishwakarma who collected the ashes and made a doll with it. Lord Shiva breathed life into this to give rise to the mighty Bhanda (Bhandasura). Rules for wearing and how to maintain your Rudraksha :

  • Wash your Rudraksha with water and oil the Rudraksha using a soft brush preferably once a month using almond oil.
  • Chant ‘Om Namah Shivaye’ before wearing the Mala the next day.
  • Remove Rudraksha Mala while engaging in sexual intercourse and while visiting funeral grounds.
  • We at Rudralife, suggest that one can remove Rudraksha Mala while consuming non vegetarian food and alcohol and wear it afterwards. Though our scriptures also highlight that they can be worn all the time without any restrictions.
  • Women can wear Rudraksha and is their choice whether they wish to remove the Mala during menstrual cycles. As per our scriptures, there are no such restrictions and women can wear Rudraksha without any worries.
