About The Puja

Navratri is a beautiful nine-day festival celebrating the nine forms of the divine female energy, Adi Shakti Devi Durga. These forms, representing power, wealth, and wisdom, have been worshiped since ancient times. Chaitra Navratri is celebrated as Goddess Durga creating the universe. Believed to be the cosmic creator, she gave birth to everything in it during this period.

This Puja involves Vedic rituals like chanting Sri Suktam 16 times, reciting the Kuber Mantra, and conducting 64 Yogini Pujan & Havan on the last day with Ghee, Sugar, Til, Ashtagandh, and Sandalwood Powder.

Why Is This Puja For You?

  • The festival, determined by the lunar calendar, is especially significant at the start of spring and autumn. Over the ten days, devotees honor each of Devi Durga's incarnations, from Devi Shailputri on the first day to the grand culmination on the tenth day.
  • This puja is done to purify the mind and body and allows devotees to focus on their prayers and worship. Navchandi Maha Puja will be conducted for 10 days, from 30th March till 7th April, with 2 Vedic Brahmins conducting the ritual daily for 3 to 4 hours during specific auspicious timings (in IST).
  • Your Sankalp will be taken as per your full name and Gotra as guided in our Vedic scriptures. You will also receive a small video separately through WhatsApp in which our Vedic Pandit will be chanting your name and Gotra.
