About The Puja

  • On the occasion of Narasimha Jayanti which celebrates the birth of Narasimha who is considered as the incarnation of Lord Vishnu, we have organized a Vedic Puja devoted to this powerful avatar. Narasimha Jayanti recounts how the demon king Hiranyakashipu, granted invincibility, opposed the worship of Lord Vishnu. Despite threats, Prahlad, Hiranyakashipu's son, remained faithful to Vishnu.
  • In a final challenge, Narasimha, a half-man and half-lion incarnation of Vishnu, emerged from a pillar, killed Hiranyakashipu, and restored balance by defeating evil.
